Have a clarion cd player for the car recently bought off ebay, advertised with no code, but upon fitting the stereo, it keeps beeping at me, with no visible code display on the dash panel, please can you help me to unlock it,

They gave it to you when the bought the unit. You will need to find the serial number on it and pay a company to sell you the code. This says 'FREE', but nothing ever is!

the new stereos are unlocked by an unlock cd.following are the options to obtain an unlock code for the stereo:
1-contact ur car dealer and ask him for the unlock cd. 2-go to some good car stereo shop and ask them to unlock the stereo. 3-if u r a wiz kid, wrie the model of ur stereo in google and search it for an unlock cd and burn it and insert it in the stereo.

The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

There are aftermarket wireharnesses available. I suggest the $15-25 purchase. The wires usually match color for color to the aftermarket stereo saving a major head ache if attempting to figure out the factory harness. These adaptors are available at many audo part stores and local installation shops.
