I am unable to retune my defina32"tv I have lost some of the channels I already had, please help BBC1 ok. BBC2 ok. ch3 invalid channel. ch4 invalid channel.ch5 invalid channel. The list goes on, some are on but some are not

Sorry no answer but can confirm I have the same issue with a DMR BS750 (same machine smaller hard drive ) connected to a Panasonic TX-L37G10B. DMR no BBC1 but BBC 1 ok on the TV have you had any luck with an answer?

What you need to do is retune the TV, but when it is finished look at the regional settings. Or if the regional option is available before retuning, retune selecting your area so then you get normal BBC channels. It's likely that at the moment the channels for BBC are located at the very top end of the channel list say? - channel 800+.

You are clearly picking up signals from many transmitters. With regional settings you can change it to the area you live in.
But you will have to take into account how good your aerial is. Otherwise the signal quality will not be good on same transmitters. So the set may only suggest those with the best quality signals.
ITV stations might also change.
When done it will move the channels you mention to the top end of the guide, to 800+.

Note many HD channels have no regional options. For example here in Yorkshire we only get ITV Granada and not Yorkshire TV on the HD channel for ITV1. And BBC1HD does not show any programmes when local news comes on.

This happened to us. we reset the box to factory settings and all channels came back. hope this helps

Solution - Replaced cheap and very basic B&Q signal splitter with a better splitter/amplifier. Signal then perfect for both TVs (signal split to TV in Lounge + TV in Kitchen)

im using a vista premium asus computer, i've been troubeling with this for some days now. when i press "play" at the game menu, a window apears "Battlefield Bad Company 2" Seems to be the .exe game window, and then it just shuts down after a few seconds... I would let the TV do an autoscan/autoprogram and see if they return at that point.

First off get the TV on the right channel. It will either be ch3 or ch4. If you are using a cable box the dvd/vcr combo will have to be on ch3 or ch4 as well. OK, Make sure the input connector on the combo is hooked to the output connector of the cable box and the output connector of the combo is hooked to the input connector of the tv. Deal with one part at a time. First hook the combo to the tv and get the tv on the right channel (ch3 or ch4) so that you can see a pre-recorded dvd or video play. Then you will know what channel the tv is supposed to be on. When you find it don't bother the tv channel any more. Stop the dvd or video and hook up the cable box and turn on the cable box and set the box to a known good channel. Now put the combo on ch3 or ch4 with the combo's channel selector buttons until you see the cable box playing on the tv (remember you already set up the tv channel). Change channels on the box but don't bother the channels on the tv or combo anymore. You can put the box on whatever channel you want. The box will be your channel selector. I certainly hope that this helps. I know it can be confusing but don't give up. Just remember that the tv and combo have to always be on ch3 or ch4 (which ever one you found before). Make sure that you do a new install retune not an update the channels have moved around a lot
