Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard installation

I bought the Logitech Wave cordless mouse and keyboard to replace a Logitech MX700 cordless mouse and keyboard. We can't get the mouse and keyboard to work at the same time. When the mouse begins to work a screen pops up that says " new Hardware Installed " and the mouse stops working.
Twice I got the mouse to work, but the keyboard wouldn't. Once we got the keyboard to work and then the mouse wouldn't work.
Rebooting and trying again repeated the same results.
Batteries are new and properly installed.
What is the best way to install this new Logitec Wave cordless duo?

You probably already done this but try pressing the receiver button and while it is flashing turn the board over and press the small reset/connect button on the bottom of the board and also the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. It should work okay after that. here is hoping that helps. Bud

Bought a logitech lazer wireless mouse from Dell just shy of 6 months ago. Mouse just lost its power a moment ago. How can I fix? Or can it be fixed?

Try changing the batteries, then press the connect button on the receiver, then press the connect button on the mouse to pickup the signal from the receiver.

Logitech Installation

in short Yes. however let me explain something. You must leave the wifi connector for the one you are using plugged into your computer, and you must install the drivers for the nano mouse, and leave its wifi connector plugged in as well. this is very simple. The reason for leaving both wifi connectors connected to the computer is because one will allow your keyboard to input data and the other will alow you to move your mouse. the only problem that i know of in this situation is interfearence between the mouse and the keyboard being on different Frequency channels however I dont think you will have this issue. Thank you and I really hope this helps. <---Sorry for the length

Also i have an MX700 and the mouse cradle has a tiny button on it, which is easily overlooked, see if there is something similar on yours. Press it to connect.

Mx700 keyboard/Mouse - Mouse doesn't work

Sounds like the mouse is bad. If you bought it from a friend, then it may very well be the case. I would replace the unit.
