The LCD display has most likely failed or the internal connection to it has been dislodged.

Without special tools and equipment there is nothing you can do to fix this properly, although a dislodged connector can sometimes be temporarily reseated by giving the phone a sharp sideways tap. Doing this can also completely dislodge the connector, but as the display no longer works you have nothing to lose.

If the sharp tap solution brings the display back then all you've done is to confirm that you probably won't need a new LCD display but either way the phone will still need a professional repair.

Sorry to disappoint you but sadly not everything is fixable on a DIY basis.
