Hello,

Please see the following information on the Microsoft website:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896866

You will need the original CD that you installed.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Testimonial: "I tried with the only "copy" I had, and by using the possibility to -repair- everything was solved. Thanks"

The CD is probably dirty or damaged and your CD-ROM is unable to read that part of the disc. Try cleaning the CD_ROM or see if you can read the file in another system.

Missing cab file etc.

There might be a problem with your ms excel, some files are corrupted and therefore you are unable to open your files..so the best solution is that we can repair your ms excel
for this just goto control panel > Double click on Add Remove Program >select microsoft office > now you will see a option change > just click on it and select Reinstall or Repair' ,on next screen it will ask you for 'Reinstall Office' or 'Detect and repair errors in my office Installation', first go with ''Detect and repair errors in my office Installation, if it doesn't help you go with 'Reinstall Office' ...........

MICROSOFT

This may have happened if you use some desktop clean up utillity.

To work around this problem, you have to provide the original installation source files.

For example, use one of the following procedures when you receive the error message:
• Insert the original Office 2003 program CD that you used to install Office 2003, and then click OK.

• Click Browse, locate the Office 2003 program installation folder on the network, and then click OK.

Office 2003 SKU011 CAB problem

Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, “regedit”).
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery.
There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9).
Select that directory.
On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache.
Change the value to 0.

If it says 12, follow same formula
