All you can try is to remove the batteries, wait for about 5 minutes the replace them. If it's not working, it seems to be a problem either at the CCD/CMOS sensor, or at the lenses zoom mechanism.
1.) GO to the place where you purchased your Fuji FinePix. They will probably sell you a new lense (or camera). I dought that they wont. 2) if that doesnt work, then you can go to a repair shop and get it fixed. #) Thank you, and have a nice day
I have the same prolem. I think it has soming to do with the Meter coupling lever , it protrudes top of the Nlkon F-mount on the front of your camera. it may be need of repair
If the camera was on when it was dropped you probably jamed the lense coil. The lense coil is what helps the camera smoothly pull in the lense and back out. Now, just to specify, what exactly are you having a problem with? Will the actual lense not go back into the camera when you turn it off; or can you not get your camera off zoom?
Let me know~
Olivia
I just then took the previous posts idea and pulled the lense off and cleaned light sand out of it , extended lense as told, put back together and turned on.so far focus seems good
