DSR-11 pixelates on right side of Screen

Just do a reset option to the receiver. The reset [a very small hole marked 'reset', can be located at the back side of the set. Just push in to it, with a tip of a ball point pen or such object, to reset the DSR. In most cases, reset the device to its factory settings will make it right.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Start, All Programs, then Windows Movie Maker.
2. On the left side, click the link for Capture from video device.
3. Select Next throughout the set up, making any file name changes or setting changes if desired.
4. On the Capture Video screen, click on the Start Capture button
5. You will see the video on the right with a time count up
6. When you are done click the Finish button
7. Click the play button on the video clip, or drag the clip to the Storyboard below

i have uploaded ulead photoimpact download it put all parts in one folder and use winrar to extract these files. when you are done with the downloading part just try to put them in one directory on right click on part1 and press extract and you are done with it.

left side image freeze indicates that the tape supply guide needs adjustment. best done by a technician with proper test equipment.

if you plug & unplug cable after turning off ,perhaps you can the conector firewire on the vcr inside there are 4 yellow cables if not the conector defect.try to push the cable firewire litle up down side just to make sure

try using a raw unused tape and see if the same problem occurs. the problem could be with the time code already recorded on the tape

This sounds like a fatal error out side of avid settings, you're going to need to do an avid reinstall to replace any currupted files. Just back up your media capture and .bin / avb files. Does xpress let you create an omfi file just import that rather than relinking?

The problem is that you have a son of a biscuit.

pixelation on the right side of the picture is an indication of a misaligned tape exit roller.  head cleaning won't fix it; it has to be done by a technician.
