Fire meaning run a second ok spray bottle w gas in it and air filter box tube off carb inlet have assistant to crank on your command.. spray 4 pumps of gas into carb inlet w grip wide open close grip have assistant crank bike if it starts be ready to pump a squirt of fuel erry 3 seconds . If it stays running doing this . Then you're carb idle circuit is clogged . Carb will be coming off fo cleaning. Kevin or dellorto or some brand of carb clearly marked ?
You say that you checked the timing marks (Camshaft vs. crankshaft) for proper alignment, but it's possible that the camshaft and crankshaft are out of sequence since the crankshaft turns two 360-degree rotations for every one of the camshaft. It's possible that the crankshaft needs to be rotated another 360 degrees and lined up with the timing mark on the camshaft (remove the timing belt in order to do this). Good luck.
please 1. check fuses 2.check spark using a timing light then 3. fuel with a fuel pressure gauge if no spark replace ignition module; if no gas replace fuel pump
chk your tank and lines for trash blockage, when you get fuel to the carb go from there, the overflowing is caused by the needle valve in the carb sticking open, usually caused by trash in the fuel, make sure you are getting fire to the plug as well, I know for a fact the wiring systems on these things are not quality systems.
check the fireing order make sure you have the plug wires in the right spot if they are and still dosent start its probley out of time take your number 1 sprak plug out hould your finger over the hole have your friend click the motor over till it blows your finger out if you then look down at the crank line your timming mark up then take the distributor cap loose the rotor button should be pointed at the number 1wire im not sure what the fireing order is but it is usely stamp on the intake
The timing plug is towards the rear of the engine on the left hand side on top. The marks are visible with the plug ramoved as the engine is rolled over slowly.
put magneto on <T>top, take off head and place piston till flush with head, place top end back onput timming chain back on and cog with dot facing right between the two markers nw the valves r shut, happy treking
