Web come visibility problem

It sounds like a defective webcam.

try reinstalling the webcam driver from dell support, or from the driver cd provided. This should solve the problem. If the problem still persists, take it to the nearest customer care centre.

If the laptop gives good clean pictures but is as you describe it when watching your camera, clean the lens with a cotton bud.

The LCD is definitely shattered, looks like pressure was applied from the back of the screen (Pressed on, laid on etc) and the LCD will need to be replaced.

What os are you on? Try control panel, sound and audio devices , advanced, and check if microphone is muted

go to dell.com.... search for their toll free numbers.. call their tech support.. they will solve your problem for free.

open your my computer, click on "c" the system will tell you the information is hidden, click on the link and open up the operating system and look in the drivers or there in C and se if you can find you web cam driver, when you find it you might have to force the opening of the driver to install, and once you do that plug your web cam in and see if the system see's it and installs the drivers for the cam, if you installed the driver origanally witht he web cam installed you will have to remove the web cam and unistall the driver and re install it and then plug the web cam back in, and that should help correct the problem.

If you haven't reinstalled vista then the web cam should be listed in the control panel under scanners and cameras. If vista has been reinstalled here is a link to the web cam driver
