I have a zenith big screen that has a red picture it is a PVR6069 RK took the front cover off and the tubes are working. I believe this is a module type board dont know which one to change or what to to do. Would like to fix this my self sounds like i can get rebuilt modules online any help thanks Randy I have a e-mail of [email protected]
Here is some info I found on your TV:
That resistor is located on the CRT board of each gun. Ususally if an image is predominantly one color then that color gun has a bad 120k resistor on it's crt board.
Here is some more helpful info:
take the front off and look down into the three tubes.they should be clear not cloudy. if one is cloudy the coolant fluid needs changing. also check the fluid has not leaked down onto the board attached to the end of the tube.
120 k resisters may need to be replaced 1 on each
CRT socket may need to be replaced

looked at each crt board all resistors look good no burn marks on board so it does not look like any resistors burned but i know that does not not mean one of them is not bad but looking at each board it is clean looking and all resistors on each board look good visually turned each board over looked at soldier joints they look good and no evidence of any hot resistors any suggestions
