Several years ago I purchased 2 Split-Type Room Air Conditioners--Models RSW-17 (Indoor Unit)/ROW-17 (Outdoor Unit) and RSW-12S (Indoor Unit)/ROW-12S (Outdoor Unit). The airconditioners themselves are fine, however,the Remote Controls for both these units, Model AR-DJ15, have gone bad and may not be repairable. How/where can I purchase replacement remote units? that mean Communication fault between indoor and
outdoor units. Some wire is cut. check wires from indoor to out door unit. Open indoor unit and check cleme open outdoor unit and check it too

R22= 70-80psig
R410a=120-130psig
Depending on many variables such as blower speed, coils clean, indoor/outdoor temps.

Try cycling the power supply to the outdoor unit. The indoor unit is powered off of the outdoor unit and the wireless signal to the room sensor originates in the indoor unit. Something may have disrupted the output signal to the room sensor and a quick reset MAY do the trick.

Replace indoor room sensor.

Check for communication from indoor to out door.Check power in out door unit. If not, check the following.
Keep cool mode and temp setting minimum 3 degree less than room temp.
Check indoor unit return air sensor. Disconnect sensor from PCB and measure resistance. 8 kOhm at 30C and 13 kOhm at 20C if not replace air sensor

Check Indoor Pipe Sensor Disconnect from PCB and measure resistance. Pipe sensor = 5kOhm at 25C. If not replace pipe sensor.

You didn't mention what error code it shows. But with your statement, please rotate manually your blower motor. If hard replace bearing or motor. If It rotates freely. replace room and coil sensor in indoor unit.

sounds like you have a bad coppressor

Check for errors like blinking indoor light if present. Reset the error by disconnecting power supply from the unit for 10 sec. and "on" the unit. If the error persist, some parts of the unit may be defective and need to replace. Like room air thermistor, coil thermistor in the indoor side or the relay board. Some safety device in the outdoor may give in, some outdoor parts may be defective. You need a qualified technician for the this problem.

-Start the unit.
-Press EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.3-minute time delay works.Test run operation operates for 30 minutes.
-Check voltage to terminal block of outdoor unit.Is there 12V DC between 2-1?
-If voltage is presenet check the wiring, compressor contactor outdoor fan motor and compressor.
-If no voltage check voltage to terminal block of indoor unit.Is there 12V DC between 2-1?
-If if voltage is present re-connect the continuity of indoor and outdoor unit connection.
-If no voltage replace the indoor electronic control P.C.
board.
-But also check the coil thermistor sensor and room air thermistor if this two is out of range it can cause the tripping of out door unit. It has the resistance of 8 to 10 k ohms at 25 deg c temp.
