Re: I have a 8gb ematic mp3 player. I went to turn it
In short, it\'s no good. Ematics do not work for long until they brake. I\'ve been searching for this answer for a year now. Nothing helps. I even have it taken apart. You are best just buying a new MP3 player, make sure it\'s not Ematic!

Never had that happen with my ematic mp3 player only had it about 6 months. Mine is the ematic 2GB Music/photo/video/voice mp3 player I purchased through walmart.com for $25 +TAX, no shipping since I did site-store which is what I do for all walmart.com purchases since packages i order seem to get lost after having left post office and being delivered to my house
I would also write your question on walmart.com under the exact item you have and maybe someone might have an answer there for it.
I know if you go under the item you have like electronic items, etc. at walmart.com they have an a question and answer area for the items just like this website. maybe give that a try.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete the files needed to operate your MP3 player
I hope this helps
