Hi: I just had my Samsung NC10 shut down with this message: Hardware Malfunction Call your hardware vendor for support NMI Parity Check: Memory Parity Error --The system has halted-- I restarted manually, and it is functioning.
It was running on battery power; low, but not the lowest it's gone.
No other noticeable problems before error occurred.
I purchased from Newegg. Help?
Thanks!

From the error report, it sounds like you have a bad memory chip (RAM).
If it's under warranty, contact Dell for a replacement.
If it is out of warranty, go to a vendor that sells RAM and replace it (such as www.crucial.com)
