Have you tried to use the wire looper threaded to get the thread through the looper?
I have often used wooly nylon thread with the looper threader(above) (several thicknesses) using a clear dissolve The to clean out the tubes where the thread flows through the looper.
Apart from this you may require professional assistance by a qualified Babylock Technician
These machines have to have the threader tubes engaged. Do you have them set for threading? If it still doesn't thread you have to use the wire threader that was provided with the machine when you bought it. It might be in the storage compartment under the lower looper spool pin.
I "THINK" I have my machine threaded properly but it will not make a chain stitch. I followed the thread guide for the narrow three spool set up with the right needle setting. why would the machine not catch the chain ????
Make sure all the settings are as they should be for threading and try again.
You can manually thread the loopers with a very fine gauge guitar wire or beading thread (looks like fishing line) with a loop on one end to hold the thread.
If you still cannot get the machine threaded, take it to a dealer to see if they have a wire threader instead of the DIY method I explained.
Get a wire threader for the machine from the dealer and store it in a safe place as it is easily lost - I lost mine 2 years ago - they are so thin they disapear!
Do you know the looper threader broken can be repair by yourself? I suggest you to order the following product:

Good luck.
On rare occasions lint can clog the yubes on these sergers. One of the first things I do is thread the wire through in the opposite direction. It will sometimes push the blockage out. The other option is to use an air compressor and again blow the lint out from the opposite side. If this does not work take it to a service man.
