Hello
1 Turn on ps, then remove any disc in there.
2 Insert cleaning disc.Make sure tv is on and your set to proper input as you would if playing games.
3 A image should come on screen.
4 Use controller to navigate to cleaning cycle and hit x button i think to start cleaning.

If this does not work take laser cleaner back,and purchase another one.Not all work in ps3 or ps2.

What do I use to clean my flatscreen LCD tv.

It's generally not recommended to use anything that has alcohol or ammonia. Any harsh cleaner could react with the plastic screen or leave fine scratches. Over time these cleaners could damage your screen. Most cleaners available at the big box stores are water based (such as Monster Screen Clean). A cleaner that is safe for computers or even some eyeglass cleaners will work. Also use a microfiber cloth, like the type you use to detail a car. Do not use paper towels.

Plasma tv scratch

Things You’ll Need:

* Television screen cleaning products
* Cleaning schedule
* Microfiber cleaning cloth

Clean Your HDTV Screen Properly
Step1
Read the warning labels on all your household cleaning products. Even glass cleaners might not be suitable for use on an HDTV screen, so check the manufacturer's warnings before you apply anything to the screen.
Step2
Keep chemical cleaners away from your HDTV on cleaning day. The harsh chemicals found in most common cleaning products will actually cause more harm than good.
Step3
Leave liquid cleaners under your sink when cleaning your HDTV screen. A liquid cleaner, whether it be water or a chemical cleaner, will drip down the screen and work its way into the interior of the TV, causing damage to your HDTV. You will be able to easily recognize when this happens, because your screen will develop smudges.
Step4
Use a cloth to clean the HDTV screen. Ideally, you should use a cloth that is recommended for HDTV screens, computer screens and other electronics. The word "microfiber" may be imprinted on the packaging.
Step5
Wet the microfiber cloth slightly. Just a hint of dampness is all you need. If water runs out of the cloth, then it's too wet and will cause smudges.
Step6
Develop a regular cleaning schedule for your HDTV screen. If you dust the screen daily, or at least several times a week, with your microfiber cloth, no other maintenance should be necessary. Not only will frequent cleanings make caring for your HDTV easier, but they will also enhance your viewing experience.
Step7
Prevent messes by asking family members and guests not to touch the television screen. You should also try to make sure children with sticky fingers do not come in contact with the screen.
Step8
Use a high-end cleaning product if you feel that regular dusting is not sufficient. Top-of-the-line television cleaning products are ideal for use on all HDTV screens, plasma screens, projectors and are safe to use around children and animals.

I have a Vizio 50-inch Plasma TV (out of warranty) from Costco and recently when I put the TV on pause while watching a show from my DirecTV DVR List, a white line (2-inches) vertically appeared on the TV...

Hi,

it could be an image burn that was caused over time because you pause the screen to much or from a game or pc use.

You can try to clean it by going to the tv mode and go menu and go to set up and go doen to image cleaner.

Try that maybe it will take care of it.

My nephew spray windex on my dlp tv and not is in between both screens n it black but you can move the water still with your fingers

Well I'll say this. There has been no damage done yet. The problem is that the windex has wicked up in between the Lenticular screen and the Fresnel lens screen. If you attempt to seperate both screens yourself then I can guarentee you will damage both screens.
Not cheap to replace both screens. The screens CAN be cleaned with a screen cleaner from Screen Clean but the real problem is finding a Highly qualified technician who has done this many times before. The Fresnel lens screen is EXTREMELY soft and has tiny ridges that damage very very easily and you will see permenant black streaks in the picture. Never use Windex,Amonia or 409 and the like cleaners on the screens. When you use a screen cleaner, spray the cleaner on a MICRO cloth (Very Soft) then carefully clean the scree. Like I said, the screens can be cleaned safely only by a Highly skilled technician. The black spots from the windex will not eventually go away. Contact the tv manufacture as they can direct to a authorized service center they trust.

Insert game disk and horizontal lines move fast on screen ???????

Sounds like your TV has multiple video inputs. Make sure the TV is set to the right channel or input. I know on ours if I hit the TV-input button on the tv remote I can change from inputs like s-video, video, cable etc and the Wii only displays properly on one of them.

How to clean inside of screen?

Your tv has two screens on it. The outter screen and the inner screen. The outter screen has a frame around it held on by clips. You can remove this outter screen by gently prying it from the tv. There is a small gape between the outter screen and the tv casing. When prying the outter screen be carefull not to dsanage the tv case or the outter screen frame. Take note of the location of each clips because you will need thses to put the outter screen back on. Clean with a good gentle screen cleaner, (Do Not Use Windex). Philips screen cleaning gel for plasma & LCD works very good. Install the outter screen back on the tv by making sure the clips line up and use light pressure to snap it back in place. Do Not Hit Outter Screen To Force Clips Into Place.. I do this on my tv about once every 6 months or so.

Cleaning screen on my 1080i hd panasonic????

HOW TO CLEAN TV SCREEN;

Much like anything in your home, TV screens get dirty with fingerprints and dust and require a periodic cleaning. Keeping your TV screen clean is essential for ensuring a clear picture. However, cleaning the front of your TV is not something that should be left for the cleaning lady. The use of certain cleaning products and solvents can damage the front of your TV screen. Special care must be taken in order to make sure that your TV screen is cleaned properly.
Every kind of TV has different steps for proper cleaning. If you are unsure what kind of TV you own, consult your TV user's manual to ensure that you are using the right cleaning method.
  • Direct-View - Older direct view TV's can be cleaned with glass cleaner and a paper towel. Newer tubes that may contain any special coatings, like an anti-glare coating, should be cleaned with a damp cotton cloth. If you are unsure if you have any special coatings, it is best to be safe and use the damp cloth.
  • CRT Rear-Projection - Before you can begin cleaning, you need to determine if you do, or do not have a screen shield. A screen shield is a hard plastic cover over the front of the TV screen. If you can't tell, give the front of the TV a light tap. Another way to tell is to check for ridges in the screen area. If you can feel ridges on the screen, then you do not have a screen shield. Rear projection TVs without a screen shield require a special kind of cleaner and rag. These are available for purchase at your local TV service center. Those that do have a screen shield should be cleaned with a dry or damp soft cloth. If it's extremely dirty, a mild soap may be used. Do not use paper products, such as paper towels, to clean the screen shield. Paper products can easily scratch the surface of the shield. Screen shields can have a tendency to streak while cleaning. If this happens, use a dry cloth and buff the screen in a small circular motions.
  • Microdisplay Rear-Projection - All microdisplay TVs have some sort of screen shield on the front. These TVs should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Microdisplays with a shiny screen shield can be cleaned with a mild soap if extremely dirty. Those with a flat screen shield should not be cleaned with any cleaning agents. Do not use paper products to clean the front of the TV because they could scratch the screen surface.
  • Plasma - Plasma owners should clean the front of the TV with a soft, damp cloth. The use of a mild soap for heavy cleaning is acceptable. The use of heavy cleaning agents could strip the special coatings on the screen, and paper products can scratch the front of the TV.

  • LCD Flat Panel - Be careful with flat panel LCD TVs! Use a slightly damp soft cloth to clean the LCD screen, then immediately dry with a soft cloth. Do not press ******* the screen during cleaning. Doing so could cause severe damage to the display. Do not use any cleaning solvents, such as glass cleaner or soaps, to clean the LCD screen. Paper products could scratch the front of the screen. If you have a pet or child that rubbed something on the screen that you feel could stain or damage it, contact your local TV service center for assistance.
When dusting the TV cabinets, dust with a damp cloth or a mild cleaner. Paper products can scratch the surface of high-gloss cabinets, so avoid paper products. Heavy cleaners can strip the finish off of TV cabinets over time. When cleaning speaker grilles, dust with a dry cloth. Wet cleaners could stain or damage the grille cloth.
