No sound output from my JBL Cinema SB400, tried Bluetooth and HDMI also optical. It was fine yesterday and I turn it on and just no sound what so ever. Can anyone help?

Does the power light come on? If not, check the power cord and power outlet on the wall. Maybe plug in a table lamp to the wall power outlet to make sure the outlet is working. If the power light is on, check the Mute button on your JBL remote control. Also check the Mute button on your TV if sound and picture go through the TV first.
We had a Harman Kardon soundbar (model SB30) made by the same company as your JBL. It worked great for a few months. Then there were a couple of funny high-pitched sounds that stopped when we turned the soundbar off and back on. Then a day or two later we truned on the soundbar and it was completely dead - no sound at all. Harmon/JBL replaced the soundbar under warranty with a refurbished one which lasted about two weeks and dies the same as the first one. Finally, they replaced the second one with a higher model (the SB35) which is still working, although it occasionally makes a rapid clicking noise for a moment here & there.

I have a Sharp flat panel model LC-20SH4U. The units power LED light is red. No effect (sound or picture) when remote or on/off switch is activated. The LED light slightly blinks.

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Hope this may help;

Regards,

SANYO Model CLT2054 Television

sounds a lot like you lost the video driver or control board functionality. From the 'decay' of your image, with sound still working, and all else being good, you're primed for a new video controller. Are you inclined to do the repair yourself? The service manuals are hard to get online, but the local service center MIGHT sell you one.

Frigidaire dehumidifier just died shows no power no lights coming checked and made sure outlet was fine

Hey friend, I appreciate your inquiry!

If your Frigidaire dehumidifier is not powering on it could be an issue within the control panel or power cord. I see you checked the outlet it was plugged into, I would test your appliance in another outlet. If you still receive the same response it sounds like it could be a problem within the panel or power cord. Is your appliance under warranty? If so, I would advise you to reach out to the manufacturer to determine any potential remedy. -Matt

My set is plugged into a cable box. the tv will not turn on either manually or with the remote.

Plug the power cord directly into a wall power outlet, and make sure that the standby light is lit (turn it on/off manually to see if anything changes). If there isn't any light, then it's most likely broken.
If the TV works again, being plugged into the power outlet in the wall, then the problem is with the cable box (i bet you figured that out too).

Laid tv face down on new rug to install legs, set back on table, sound,no picture.had picture 10 min prior

You should be seeing a validation that the TV is getting power. Like the lights are coming on, or you are hearing clicking when you plug in or power up the TV.

Make sure you have the TV’s power cord plug inserted all the way into the TV.

Also, make sure the TV's cord is plugged into a good power outlet. You may want to plug something else into the power outlet to be sure the outlet is good.

I don’t see how laying down the TV would cause this issue. Unless the TV was kind of dropped and or twisted to cause a board inside the TV to fracture/break.

I hope this information has helped you.

Good Luck.

Sound but no picture. menus work.

I had the same problem. In the menu, the image button was grey, and could not be hi-lighted, and the screen stayed blue. I was using the AC power cord. I plugged in the DC power cord instead, and it "woke" the unit up. I switched back to the AC power and it works fine. If you don't hve the DC cord that came with the TV, try andy 12 volt dc output cord with a positive tip.

Picture freezes and no sound or sound and pictures normal

Okay, only one thing you could check, and that would be your electrical outlet.Using another outlet from a different room(power extension cord) to plug your TV and see if it does the same thing.
If it does, don't bother, you need a repair serviceman to take care of it or if it is under warranty, call your retailer!
