You must call the number and speak with a yahoo support representative. They will be able to unlock her account for you!

You will have to take the same route as if someone has accessed your account and changed the security questions
Follow the route for 'my account has been compromised'

To unlock your account

1) Close Yahoo Messenger completely
2) Go to Yahoo WEB Messenger
3) Log in there
4) Hey presto your account is unlocked
5) log out of web messenger
6) reboot computer
7) Yahoo Messenger should now log in properly

It sounds like your account has been locked. This is quite common. To unlock your account --

1) close and exit Yahoo Messenger
2) Got to Yahoo Web Messenger
3) Log on as normal
4) Your account is now unlocked
5) Log out of web messenger
6) Reboot your computer

Yahoo Messenger should now work as expected.

Hi, locked accounts are quitecommon with Yahoo! To solve this problem, do the following.

1) Close and exit from Yahoo! Messenger completely
2) Log on to Yahoo! Web Messenger
3) Log off Yahoo! Web Messenger
4) Your account is now unlocked
5) Reboot your computer
6) Yahoo! Messenger should now work as expected

It seems some problem with your account.

I would suggest go to
http://mail.yahoo.com
Try to sign in and see what happens.

If you are able to sign in on the website and you can access your email box. It is clear that your account is fine.

If you are unable to sign in on the mail website and it gives the same error. Then just wait for 24 hours, it will be unlocked.
It is not your fault some time people try to break in to your account and account is locked due to security reasons.
