My ACER 5570z will not start up. When power cord

Hi

Have you plugged in your power cord to the electric socket so that you can charge the battery
using the laptop with the power cord in while it is charging



so if there is not charge in the laptop at all maybe plug in and turn on socket switch
and leave to charge for an hour or so

then try to start laptop again

Unplug the battery for 3-4 hr and then try to restart again.

try checking the output of the charger with a multimeter.

Hello there:
This could be the result of a couple of different things
The power connector where you plug your power into the computer could have a piece that is broken in there
or you could have a bad power converter on the board it'self that could be bad
and you might even have a bad power supply in the computer
First i would remove the power cord and battery and press in the power key to discharge anyesd that may be stored and hold it in for 10 to 20 seconds andthen connect the power cord and see if any lights come on
showing that you are getting power if not i would start troubleshooting the connector piece for the power cord but if their is power showing now try to start the computer if all is good than you should be able to turn it off again and reinstall the battery and try it again but if still nothing than you will have to troubleshoot the motherboard or the power suply ok If you have a warranty on this you may consider using it

Insert a windows boot disc. Go into the bios select it to boot from CD-ROM first. Then you can go from there. If you get it to boot to windows disc, then you could start reinstalling windows. If you are still having issues then there is a more serious issue. If you have any other questions let me know.

U ARE HAVING PROBLEM WITH UR POWER CORD OR YOUR BATTERY

Check the adapter with a multi-meter, the voltage on the plug that connects into the laptop should have a voltage slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the lable on the adapter. If you get nothing then the adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. That is why the battery is not charging.

It sounds like defective video card or motherboard.

usally bad motherbord u can try using anther power pack but i dought will help seell it on ebay for parts
