Prints blank page

Have you checked the print que
Printer problems can be a real hassle.
From time to time, due to document layout or settings on your computer, in your software of choice, or even on your printer, a blank page may get "printed" with the rest of your document.
Fortunately, this issue is a simple one to troubleshoot.
Click "Print Preview" when you are finished with your document and ready to print.
Observe your document.
If you see an extra, blank page, you have created a second page.
To delete the second page, close Print Preview, go back into the document and eliminate any blank lines in your documents that you may not need.
You may also find an inadvertent page break at the end of your document.
Place your cursor on its symbol and delete it.
Locate the symbol by clicking on the Show Formatting paragraph icon in the toolbar.

Circumvent this "ghost page" if you do not see a second (or additional) blank page in Print Preview.

Specify the number of pages you wish to print, within the Print dialogue box.
This is typically done by selecting the "Print From" option, then entering the page numbers desired.
If your document happens to be ten pages (without, of course, that final blank page), then enter in the "Print From" field the numbers "1-10".
This will print only pages 1 through 10, without an eleventh (blank) page.

A few days ago my printer began printing about 3 lines, skipping 2 lines and printed the bottom half of the next line - it printed the whole page in this manner. Someone at Office Max, where I bought the...

Hi bkoll2,

When your printer seems to be skipping lines it's mostly because your printhead needs cleaning. This cleaning must be done ONLY by using the printer utility on the PC. If you cleaned them manually you might have damaged the ink cartridges or the printer itself. Try replacing the ink cartridges and trying again.

If you're still having issues check this detailed guide: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01957673&tmp_task=solveCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3643612

Otherwise contact tech support.

Hope this helped.

Black ink problem with printout on hp7780

Always try replacing the ink cartridges first.

It sounds like the print heads in the 7780 are bad. Don't confuse the ink cartridges with print heads. The cartridges fit inside the print heads. You will need to change the heads. Here is a link to HP's how-to.

Won't print on regular paper

My quess would be that printhead is becoming clogged, photos don't use as much ink as plain paper printouts that is why they look faded! You need to call Kodak tech support!

My HP Office jet 6210

If the printer seems to be printing and ejects paper when a page seems finished, communication is happening, just no ink.
To see if it is an ink or printhead problem, take any Word document, highlight all text and change the font color. Then try printing it; I would try this with a few different colors to see if any part of the printhead is capable of producing visible material.

Lots of paper, but practically no printing

Are you using a canon? It may be that the printhead is clogged up. Try "clean printhead" option supplied with the driver. Canon printers have separate ink and printhead unlike other brands. You may also replace the printhead if cleaning doesn't help.
