The light stays on for a long time although it shuts off (a lot more that 4.5 minutes). Can this be adjusted to be shortened? Where and how on the unit?

The adjustment dial should be on the rear view mirror.

under the cover,of the device ,pry with a small screwdriver ,there is 3 controls side to side is the outer or wdth of range then in the center is time ,turn it clockwise you can adjust it up to 20 minutes

timer switch going out have to replace might have to un hook batt for night get fix tommarow

replace the thermocouple. it is a small copper tube that screws into the gas valve and goes to the pilot assembly. a good haedware store that sells heaters will have one. they come in various lengths 18"-48".

I would go back to green tube disconnect ,unplug CRT board to green tube if set stays up playing its the tube.

Enter in the user mode:
1.Press the Clear mode key.
2. Press the Clear/Stop key more 4 sec untill the user tool menu appears on the touch panel.
3.This copiers has more 12 user tools.You can see 5 user tools on the display at the same time.Use these keys to see the rest .
4.AUTO RESET: the copier return to the initial condition autommatically after your job is finished.(after 60 sec)
5.SCREEN SAVER :when the copier does not detect anyone operating it for selected time the display turns OFF.(60 sec).
6AUTO OFF:Whwn the machine is used after weekly timer has turned it OFF the copier will turn itself back OFF after the selected time.The auto OFF time can be set from 1 to 999 minute or the function can be turned.(I recomanded setting level OFF).

On my 2004 Aviator, the indicator was lit all the time, and it did kill the battery if I didn't drive it every day. The dealer stated it should only remain lit for 20 minutes, and replaced the shift assembly. Sounds like they shortened the illumination time to 10 minutes.

I maybe wrong, but there should be a proceedure in the owners manual to adjust the interior light timing. If this proceedure is unsuccessful check your dealer for more info.

You may need to shorten the brake cable by loosening the thumbscrew locknut, extending the adjuster and re-tightening the locknut. If there isn't enough adjustment, you'll have to shorten the cable by loosening its locknut, shorten the cable by about 1/4" at a time, and re-adjusting your thumbscrew adjustments until the brakes are effective. Also make sure your new shoes are lined up with the sides of the wheels and you may want to lightly sand the surface of the new shoes, just to roughen them a bit so that they seat faster.
