I have a jail broken iPhone and I forgot my password. Everyone is telling me to restore my phone but if I do that I will loose everthing including the jail break. And iTunes has a new update and a jail break has not yet came out for this software so what can I do?

If you cannot remember your pass code, you will unfortunately have to restore your iPhone which will wipe everything off the iPhone and restore it back to factory settings.
* The
only positive side to this is that your music, video, contacts and
calendar settings will still be in tact but you may lose text messages
mail and so on.
* One more possibility: if you were able to
recently sync your iPhone with iTunes before you forgot your passcode,
when you perform a restore, iTunes will put all of the data of your
last sync in iTunes (before the passcode issue) back onto your iPhone.

If you plug your phone into the computer and it tells you that its locked, put the phone into DFU mode

It took me 3 times to actually get it into DFU mode so it may take a couple of tries.
