First you will want to download the YP-U2J Updater Program from samsung site if you don't have it all ready on your computer and then install it.
The Link To The Update Is Here ----> YP-U2JZW
http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=us&CttFileID=1497873&CDCttType=FM&ModelType=N&ModelName=YP-U2JZW&VPath=FM/200705/20070530154647062_YP-U2J_v1156.zip
After You installed the Updater Program for the Firmware Update then open the YP-U2J Updater Program and now do the below.
Plug The Samsung Mp3 Player In to the computer and after you hear the windows detection ding sound and the MTP Found Device message
Take a paper clip or a small safty pin and at the same time as you hit the reset button with the pin hold the Play button until you hear windows ding again and you get a diffrent message of some sort then let go of the play button and the Updater program should be connected to the device now and you can flash your drive if you have not all ready done so or close the program and open windows media player and now you can do as you want.
So far I have found this to work every time I plug my mp3 player in to the computer and using this method every time but until windows updates comes out with a better detection software then samsungs detection software will have to work until then by using the updater program to connect the mp3 player to windows.
You can download any updater version that matches your player but I am using mine for an example.
Sounds helpful...but unfortunately for me it doesn't help.
When I turn on my mp3 player after the system loads...unusually fast as a matter of fact...it displays MLDB ERROR CF-and the rest is cut off by the short length of the LCD screen. When I plug it into my PC it beeps indicating it was detected (the mp3's lcd displays MTP device connected), only for it to immediately beep again indicating disconnection(mp3 also simultaneously displays USB disconnected, CHARGING...)...While this happens the updater finds the device and displays a searching message...only for it to quickly say please connect a device as if to indicate that it could no longer detect it....I think a while back my bro accidently formatted the device incorrectly which some how messed up files in it's system(hence the MLDB ERROR?)...any help would be appreciated if anyone still comes here...
I followed all the steps and nothing is happening. Help....

Hey bud I will try to help you out but the above worked for my friends player so I asumed it worked for all players like his but let me know what it's doing?
Like is it connecting to the computer at all?
Is it doing what my friends is doing like when you plug the mp3 player in to the usb port does it say charging and then says connecting on the mp3 player and windows keeps detecting the drive but when it tryes to install the software for it. It can't and so windows rejects it and dings and then the mp3 player still says connecting?
If so then you are doing somthing wrong and I could have worded this all wrong or there is a mis comunication between us...lol.... I can't spell and yes I know this so bare with me...k.....
