My ear speaker only works with slider closed.
i suspect the slider mechanism is a fault
it has been pretty sloppy for some time now
please help, i can't seem to get the two parts apart
i've taken out all the screws to no avail
Here is a video that shows you how to take the SGH-t629 apart. I had the same problem, my screen would first invert, then it turned all white. I just disassembled mine and it looks like the flex cable got a small cut in it some how probably from the sliding mechanism.

However, I have a guide created by me from a similar model which is Samsung D807 also a sliding phone. It may give you some hint to do your job. it fell apart on the floor and i need to put it back together, i don't know how
ok my samsung t629 started goin crazy on me. first the picture would invert, then it would go upsidedown and everything would change...now its just plain white....... HELP!!!!
