How can i unfreez my ipod with out loosing my music

2. Then remove the iPod shuffle from the USB dock.
3. Move the switch that is on the top of the iPod shuffle to the off position.

Note: When iPod shuffle is off, the green stripe by the switch is not visible.
4. Wait 5 seconds.
5. Move the switch back to the on position so green stripe will be visible in either position.

If you have owned you iPod for about a year, you will notice that it will freeze up every once and a while. If it has not done this yet, believe me, it will. When it happens you will probably panic, like I did. But don't, there is a simple way to unfreeze it that works almost every time.
Resetting your iPod

Hold the middle button(select button) and the "Menu" button on your iPod down for about 7-10 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo appear in the middle of the screen.

Wait for iPod to start back up. Now it should be working properly.If you own an iPod Touch then hold down the "Power/Reset" button(the one on top) and the "Home" button(the one on the front with the square in the middle) for at least 10 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.

Restoring your iPod
If this does not work, you can try "Restoring" it. When you restore an iPod, you are extracting the "Flawed" software and putting new software back onto it. So first plug your iPod into your computer, then open up iTunes and select your iPod in the list of devices to left. Now right under the big picture of your iPod you'll see a button labeled "Restore," click it. Restoring will wipe all your music, movies and pictures off of your iPod, but if you restore you iPod on the same computer that you sync it too, then you'll be fine, you just need to re-sync your iPod once you're done restoring your it. Restoring will take about 10-15 minutes.
