Some rom/burners will only accept -'s or +'s and sometimes the ram ones will even be rejected. Look for the supported formats for your drive. If you are using a blank , be sure not to buy those in that format.

I think you are inserting the discs in the opposite way. actually the writing should be on the right side while inserting the dics while the wii is on its stand.

it could be the laser that reads the discs might be faulty. i have same problem i insert the disc it reads the disc but it dusnt stop reading it or recognise what it is. i think u will have to get it serviced.. thats what im going to do
