Step 1:
Locate the reset button, usually placed to the side of the combination dials.

Step 2:
Press the reset button and hold it while rotating the number dials to the desired combination.

Step 3:
Release the reset button after you set the numbers to the new combination.

How to change the 3 digit code of my samsonite ?
Luggage manufacturer Samsonite offers a variety of business, personal, travel products and accessories. Many Samsonite pieces such as attaches and other bags include a three-digit, built-in combination lock. When purchased, the locks are set on a factory default combination that you can change as often as you wish.

STEP 1
Turn the number dials to the previously set combination, or to "0-0-0", the factory default combination for Samsonite luggage.

STEP 2
Locate the reset button, usually placed to the side of the combination dials.

STEP 3
Press the reset button and hold it while rotating the number dials to the desired combination. Set this to a sequence easy for you to remember but hard for others to figure out.

STEP 4
Release the reset button after you set the numbers to the new combination.

STEP 5
Test the combination by turning the dials to the new code to open the lock. If the combination does not open the lock, repeat Steps 1 through 4 and test the lock again. If you still can't open the lock, contact Samsonite Customer Service at 800-765-2247.

How to unlock samsonite combination lock?
1. Call Samsonite Customer Service at 1-800-262-8282. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m EST.
2. Press "1" and then "6" on your telephone keypad to speak with a representative to order a replacement key or padlock.
3. Pay the required fee. Samsonite will then send out the replacement key.

How do I reset a 4 dial Samsonite combination lock
Hello sstacy1,

You can follow the steps below to fix your problem on how to reset your 4 dial Samsonite combination lock:
  1. Set the dials to 0-0-0. Find the lever or button next to the dials.
  2. 2If your lock has a lever, lower it and turn the dials to the desired numbers. Return the lever to its starting position.
  3. 3For locks with a button, push the button towards the dials and turn them to the desired numbers. Release the button.
  4. 4The lock is now set to the new combination.

Or, you may be able to find a business in Mumbai which sells Samsonite luggage, where you can take your bag to find out where you can have the lock repaired.

I do not know the combination of my samsonite hard case suitcase
I tried working through the series of possible numbers and at the same time gently pressing the lower part of the lock to see if it would open. After a while I used a claw hammer which I gently inserted the claw beneath the lower portion of the lock and again gently prised it and at first go the lock opened and no damage done that I can see. I have not reset the lock yet.
