G3 kirby vacume need help installin the shampooer

I have a g3 kirby we have never used the shampooer and the salesman never came back to show us how to intall it and we can't find the user manual

I am having trouble making the shampooer belt turn and i can not remember what goes on the back because i know that we are suppose to take off the bag that we use for vacuming the carpet. please help thank you

hope this helps...brush head connects on the front...tank connects on the side...and the "hose" slips on the tank and "pops" into the front tray...snaps in place like a barbie doll head...tee hee...

this is another site with pictures...the kirby is a different color (g5) but they connect the exact same way

How do I use shampooer?

If you click the link below it will take you to a video demonstration that explains step by step what you need to do to convert your Kirby into a carpet shampooer. The Vacuum in the video is the Kirby Sentria, but the procedure is the EXACT same as it is on your Kirby G3, as well as Kirby Diamond Edition, G4, G5, G6, etc. All Generation models have the same process of converting the vacuum into a carpet shampooer.
