Look at the power indicator. If it is not lit, no power is being supplied to the computer. Check the following:

  1. If you are using on the battery, it may be low and unable to power the computer. Connect the AC adaptor to recharge the battery pack.
  2. Make sure that the AC adaptor is properly plugged into the computer and to the power outlet.
If it is lit, check the following:
  1. Is a non-bootable (non-system) disk in the external USB floppy drive?
  2. Remove or replace it with a system disk and press <Ctrl> + <Alt> +<Del> to restart the system.
The computer's power management system automatically blanks the screen to save power. Press any key to turn the display back on. If pressing a key does not turn the display back on, three things might be the cause:
  1. The brightness level might be too low. Press <Fn> + <→> (increase) to adjust the brightness level.
  2. The display device might be set to an external monitor. Press the display toggle hot key <Fn> + <F5> to toggle the display back to the computer.
  3. If the Sleep indicator is lit, the computer is in Sleep mode. Press and release the power button to resume.

2002 ford explorer 4 wheel drive acting up

You have to put it in neutral with the engine running and the vehicle stopped and your foot on the brake. Press the button and wait a few seconds and you should hear it disengage. You have destoyed the deferential by driving it on a non slippery surface with the 4x4 engaged. Very very expensive mistake if you ever decide to fix it. Hopefully it will do ok in 2wd.

My tv went out and I think I may have blown a fuse or something else went out. When I press the power button the green light turns on for a couple seconds and then just goes out. what do you think the...

NEXT TIME IT SHUTS DOWN: when green light goes out on THE FRONT OF THE SET: press and hold BOTH the menu and input buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds and then release both.

This is the self check this model has---power light should blink a two digit code---for example--two blinks, a pause and two blinks and the set will repeat the error code about 10 times.

1 blinks and then 2 blinks is NO ERROR DETECTED
2 blinks and then 2 blinks is short protect

ETC.....Let me know if you get an error code and I will tell you what the problem is---hope you find 2,2 that is the most common and the most easy to repair.

Mitsubishi WS-55909 dm board repair

The DM is fine if the led isnt blinking. Your set is going into protective shutdown. Try pressing the menu and the device/input buttons on the set both in together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a series of blinks pause then blink another series of blinks. Such as 2 blinks pause then 2 blinks, Then let me know what the blinks were and I will assist you with whats wrong
