I have a Compaq computer with the PLatinum JBL series speakers. They worked perfect until I did a full system recovery. Ever since I did that they won't work. The turn on I plugged them into the right port in the back of the tower. And my computer does'nt read the hardware. I try to run a prgram where it wil read anything plugged into my computer so it can install it,but it won't read them. I looked under the options and it won't let me adjust the volume because it says i don't even have speakers plugged in. I called the 1800 number and they were absolutely NO help. So can someone please help me I would like to try and fix the problem so I can hear stuff on my computer! Thank you so much
Try a headphone, if u cannot hear anything, you will need a driver for your soundcard. Post your computer model and i can get a link for download the drivers.
Good luck
There are lots and lots of models in 7500series.
Try this one

If this one cant help you, give me the computer serial number, and i can discover the exact model of your computer.
Best regards.
