Ps3 menu i turn the unit on and it goes straight to the game. the game seems to work fine but try to exit to xbar menu tv looses signal no signal when its started up without game.

If you are able to connect your PS3 to another TV using the same HDMI cable that would rule out your PS3, if it works.....or
does the PS3 itself have any settings that perhaps need to be set to an HDMI output as opposed to Composite or SCART etc?
Also have a look at the HDMI settings in theh TV menu too.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO GO TO TRY & LOCATE SYSTEM SETTINGS & RESTORE.

I have recently brought the same TV and had the same problem but I've mangaed to find a soultion.

The automatic setting for Blu Ray on PS3 is Full HD (1080p) but the Acoustic Solutions TV is HD ready (720p). For PS3 games it will automattically change settings for you to 720p. This is why this works straight away but Blu Ray doesn't.

Solution

You need to plug in your PS3 using the scart contection, then on the ps3 menu go to settings > display settings > HDMI. You will then need to attach the HDMI cable and manually set up
HDMI by checking the 720p option and deselect 1080p.

That should then play Blu Rays too. You don't lose too much quality as 720p works nearly as well as 1080p on smaller TVs.

put cables ps3 came with in with ps3 on standby hold power button on ps3 down 10sec and it will reset audio and visual setings

shut PS3 off with the back of PS3 switch then turn it back on.

When I turn on my TV it goes straight to the menu screen. You can still hear sound but no picture. When I try to exit you see the picture for about a second then it automatically flashes back to the menu screen. Even if I try to use the functions in the menu screen it flashes right back to the main menu screen. Very frustrated...need help!

it sounds like you haven't set the display settings correctly. turn off your ps3 and try using the red,white,yellow cables (make sure everything is plugged in correctly). if you get a signal, then change the display settings to whatever connection you will use.
