Memory card is not working...

I bought a new moto w230.when i inserted the memory card on it..it is ot showing any file on it.when i tried in other nokia mobile it is working...

It doesnt shows even memory card symbol in the mobile phone. and even the foratting of the mobile phone was also failed

Hi,

You should not use the memory card from other mobile to motorola. When you insert the memory card two folders will be created automatically (Sounds and images) You have to put the songs and images in the relevant folder, then only you can access. Otherwise it will display that you don't have files in the memory card.
Take a copy of all the songs and images to your pc.
Then follow these following steps
1. Format the memory card.
2. Insert the memory card to motorola
3. Transfer the files and folders to the folder(Automatically created folder)
4. Safely remove hardware

Now you can enjoy music.

see most probably your memory card's file system has got corrupted ,use a card reader to connect the card to the computer and format it in FAT32 file system then insert the card again and it will work

Memory cards are not installed. They are just inserted and use. what you do is, insert the card into its slot and close the lid/cover. After that go to the file manager and read this card. It will show either blank or some folders which are blank. If you can see all this then your card is fine and working. If not thenyou may have to format it. After formatting it should show all the folders (blank ones). Now connect the phone to the PC and see it as an additional drive in My Computer. Use this drive to copy all the files that you want on it like you do with any other drive.

Dear this is the main solution.
create the folder of MUSIC in ur memory card. copy songs in music folder
create the folder of picture in ur mem card and copy paste the pics of it
when u insert the memcard in ur handset and u'll show all the data on ur phone
