When i make a call from my W910 the person on the other end cannot hear me at all. Using handsfree in my car it works perfectly ok

Kindly Using your Sound Recorder function in the phone try to record a sound and listen. If its nothing then the in-built microphone is dead. If you can hear the recording then there is some malfunctioning in the Firmware of the phone. Get it serviced. Its not a big deal.

I can hear caller caller cannot hear me please help 910i

Your phone's microphone is not working and so it must be checked. See that the is no block to the microphone pores-- the small hole for the voice to be taken to the mic.
IF so use a hands-free to check if the circuit is working. If so the phone has no issue except a fault in the microphone or a connection fault in the hands-free.
You need to remove to check and must attempt only if you are confident.

Hello...i can here the person i call but they can't here me. My phone is a Sony W910i. Phone has been fine but this has just happed Please help ??

Hello and Welcome to FixYa Sir.

This is a common issue, lets diagnose it. First what you should check is that your Microphone is ok. To do so Goto Main Menu, then Entertainment and there select the Sound Recorder. recode a sound and listen to it. If its ok then the microfone is working fine. If you just here a hiss or something similar then the microphone unit is faulty. Needs service to replace it with a new mic.

If you hear what you record, then this may be due to the firmware bug. In this case you need your USB data cable of your phone to do a flash. If you have the cable then download, install and run this application. Follow the instructions for update.

I hope you will have a clearer picture now.
If you have any Confusion, questions or issues regarding your problem do tell me.

Hi, While performing voice chat over gtalk, I could hear the conversation on my part - but people on the other side could not hear me. Could you please let me know the possible cause of this...

ok, check your microphone connection . if it connected wrongly please connect it properly . 2.check your microphone recording ability by using "sound recorder".(goto start menu >programs> accessories >entertainment>sound recorder.) try to record your sound. 3.if your sound doesn't record in "sound recorder" check the audio manager.(start menu>control panel>"your audio manager") open it and check the recording sound is mute .if it is mute unmute it . if this information was helpful plese vote for me and write a comment for it. if this information cannot solve your problem plese post a question in this website . i will solve it.

RIM Blackberry Pearl Can't hear incoming/outgoing calls

After receiving a message with sound, push the button on the side that activates voice dialing. It sometimes takes activating it twice, but it will turn the sound back on.

Microphone problems

Go to your control panel in windows, you can get there from the start menu no matter what version you are on.

In the control panel, double click on Sound. In the new window, click on file and settings... or advanced I cant remember exactly which as I am using vista. There you should be able to select "Recording". Click ok.

Now you should be able to see where it says microphone, with a volume bar and so on. Put a check in the "Mute" box. This will not completely mute the microphone, it should only make it to where you will no longer hear it on your speakers.

Try talking to your friends now... It should work! I hope this helped to fix your problem, if not, let me know and we can try something else.

Incoming or outgoing calls no sounds

Turn up the volumes on Ear piece -during- a call (on the side of the phone <===>) and on the speaker at any time. The joy stick does it I think.

Would like to record greeting

Here is a link to the instruction manual (5.06MB): http://www.home-electronics.net/GE/ProductDownloads/25881EE3_IB.pdf Recording the Outgoing Announcement For best results when recording, you should be about nine inches from the microphone, and eliminate as much background noise as possible. 1. Make sure the answering system is ON. 2. Press and hold the announce button on the base while you record the announcement. 3. Begin speaking after you hear the beep. 4. Release the button after you finish your announcement. If you choose not to record an outgoing announcement, the default announcement plays. To return to the default announcement after you have recorded your personal announcement, press the delete button on the base while playing the announcement, or press the announce button and release it when you hear the beep. Sample Outgoing Announcement Hi, this is (use your name here), I can?t answer the phone right now, so please leave your name, number and a brief message after the tone, and I?ll get back to you. Thanks. Reviewing Announcement ? Press and release the announce button to play your outgoing announcement.
