Hello,
My problem is with the HP Deskjet F340 all-in-one printer. I have been trying to print out some photos from my digital camera and I notice rainbow streaks running through them. What can I do to get rid of these streaks?
When printing a photo make sure that your quality is set on best and not normal.
Also check the ink level on your colour and black cartridges and make sure it is sufficient.
Last but not least if you are using remanufactured or refilled cartridges this is a common problem. The cartridges are not made for the printer or they have been refilled and they now have blocked printheads and the ink is doing interesting things. If you buy a real hp cartridge and it should clear the issue up.

go to Start, Settings, Control panel, printers and faxes is your printer there? is there a checkmark? no, then right click and set as default, put your mouse over it does it say Ready? no, then change cable.
send test page, it should print, if not the USB or Parrallel input of your printer has a problem.
