My lens was hard to turn, when i did, something came undone and now there's a little piece rattling inside. how do i fix this? photos come out black now. :(

DON'T TRY TO FIX THIS YOURSELF! You will only add to the damage. If your lens is in warranty, contact Nikon for instructions to get it repaired. If it is out of warranty, I would either pay Nikon for the repair or take it to a camera repair man.
Take a look at the little 2 grey pieces that open and close over your lens when you turn it on and off. Those might be jammed, if so try to straighten them out. That would be the easy answer, otherwise you might have a problem with lens inside the camera in which case youll need to get it repaired.
It problably a loosen tiny piece inside the barrels. Do not attempt disassembly, you can ruin the less. In NY you can get the repair information in BH.
