My kelvinator dryer began to squeak loudly and now it will not run. When I push the start button, there is a sound, but the dryer would not work.

sounds like the barrel has jammed try turning it by hand to see if its jammed if so then it will need to be serviced by a lic tech if the barrel is free turning then i would say it has broken its belt the sqeaky noise would be its bearings wearing out putting the barrel out of alyghnment this too will need replacing

Very sqeaky and noisy when operating

There might be two problems:
Either the problem with the assembly of the rotor drum and bearings or bushes went wrong.
Or there is some garbage stucked so once open the cover and clean it and then check.

Sqeaky Neptune Dryer

Probably a slipping belt.  Either overloaded or the belt is drying out.
