Thier is an Allen key hole at the very bottom and center of the badger. Try using that with an Allen key. And if it leaks your from where your wires are coming out of your seal is probably bad. Means new badger

Badger 5 insink erator is leaking out of bottom. Is this a seal or something that can be replaced?

If it is actually leaking from the bottom there is nothing you can do except replace it, there are no user servicable parts in the bottom end on disposal. I would carefully check around drain outlet and gasket where it mounts on bottom of sink. If it's leaking around drain outlet from disposal there is a replaceable gasket there or on underside of sink where disposal mounts. If you find that it is leaking from either of these locations I would be happy to instruct you on how to change them Hope this helps you, Thanks.

Insinkerator badger 5 leaks from bottom, which is cheaper repair or replace.

The seals are shot and it is probably a point at which it should be replaced since that particular brand doesn't have a great track record and is one typically installed in new homes for its low cost.

Water is coming out the bottom of my Badger 1 disposal. Solution???

Check the fittings, the hoses could be loose... If the leak isn't coming from there then you have a seal leaking or a rust through that is causing water to leak and would need to replace the disposal.

Badger 5 leaking from middle of unit when motor is

Make sure the seal is tight where the unit attaches to the sink. It may appear that the unit is leaking elsewhere but is not. If you are sure it is leaking at the case, check for cracks or you could have a bad pump seal internally, in which case the unit should be replaced.

In sink erator leaking at bottom by electrical connection

I don't think it can be fixed by anyone other than the factory. I wanted to find a parts list so I could buy a seal that goes above the motor housing (which is where i think the problem really is) and repair it myself. I wish I had better news but since the leak is small and the motor still works, I'm going to keep a bucket beneath it and periodically empty it as recommended by a previous contributor.
