Here's what I did for that model. I Googled Dorel Futons. I found the one which resembled mine the closest, and mouse clicked on it. I got "Vermont Style Metal Arm Futon" which is model # 3123098W, and under the Description paragraph, found a link to Instructions. Clicking on that brought me to step by step assembly of the frame, which is just like the F1400BLKS, which is not listed if you enter that model # on Dorel website. Hope this helps!

    I needed FI100BLKS instructions, but it is apparently an old model number. TRY B34FI310BLKS00.pdf - it is very similar.

That is an old model number - try Model # 3151096 , or search for B34FI310BLKS00.pdf

What is a tri-fold futon? I have only ever heard of a bi-fold.
A tri-fold futon folds three times (hence the name) instead of twice. Some models have legs, while other sit directly on the floor.

I recently bought a futon but for some reason if you fold it out into a bed and lay in the middle the futon folds up. I think it jsut isnt assembled correctly. Is there a manual to check for the Dorel...
I had the same problem, went to you tube and this guy has a wooden armed one very similar. I was happy that it shows step by step. Just type in assembly instruction futon, and it will come right up. Mind you, the parts are not exact but it was very helpful.

Yes. Google Dorel Futons, look for the model resembling yours, and mouse click it. Under the Description paragraph, you should see a link for Instructions. It may be for a different model #, but remember they use different model #'s for different color cushions and slight variations in the frames. Good luck!

I had the same issue. Do a google search for Dorel Futons. WHen you see a variety of futons displayed, click on the one with the black metal frame (assume that is the type you have, as mine is F 14000BLKS). The one I chose was Vermont Styloe Metal Arm Futon 3123098W, same type of frame I have. Under the Description, you will see a link for instrucitons. Click on that and you will get all pages of assembly instructions in English and Spanish.

I need to convert my Dorel Asia SRL DA0504KMC-1W crib into a bed but can't find instructions - anyone out there have them?
Dorel customer service number is 1-800-544-1108 or 1-800-295-1980(asia model). Depending on your model number. Then can e-mail you directions. Very easy and I had them by the time I hung up the phone.
