It can be quite annoying and sometimes even a big problem for you when you accidentally lose your call logs or call history. This is especially true when there is a number on your call history that just happens to be important but you somehow forgot to save in your contact list or you were unable to do so before the call logs vanished.
The question is: is it possible to recover these deleted call logs? I am going to explore this issue at greater length and offer you a solution if you ever lost your call logs.
If you had backed up your call history, you can recover deleted call logs from ZTE phones via backup.
In addition, you had no back up your call history, then there is only one way to get them back. You have to use a third-party data recovery tool to get them.
Step1: Download and Launch Fonedog data recovery.
Step2: Select call log files to scan
Step3: Preview and Recover deleted call logs

Deleting recent send history

Go into your menu and find 'Call Log' there will be an option for 'erase all call data. As for sent messages, go to your 'sentbox' folder and find 'delete all'. This will delete the call history and any records of messages sent.
Alternatively, to perform a full factory reset (THIS WILL ERASE ALL YOUR CONTACTS AND RESET THE PHONE TO BEFORE FIRST USE!) :

Press ##786# then select 'Reset'. Password would be your MSL, which your provider has (call customer care for your MSL).
This is a factory reset, this will reset everything.

Call log deleted

It is because your phone is out of memory. You need to buy a memory card and move you pictures, ringtones, and music onto that and then it will stop doing that.

Deleting the recent log

thank u so much for trying to help. I guess my message wasnt clear enough though. The phone is not storing my "messages", I'm not having a problem with that, I can clear them, no problem. Its the "recent log" under the "add recipients" that does not clear. The "recent log" stores all the numbers you ever text messaged to. I want to clear the #'s that I've text messaged to, not regular calls, thats easy to clear. For some reason this phone stores all the #'s that you text to. If you can figure it out, i'll give u a million dollars!!! just joking of course.
thank u!
