Bought a new Samsung LED TV, BluRay disc surround sound and xBox arcade. Hooked up and getting pixels streaks with fast action movements in the dvd and loud, long sounds all the sudden cut out. Additionally when playing xBox games, GREEN or RED LINES all across the screen. Help!! just spent gobs but need to tweek to be satisfied w/performance. THANKS

If your DVD disc supports it, you will have to enable surround sound from the DVD, as well as the speakers.

Try a different power outlet. Is the player connected to the TV correctly and is the TV on the correct input?

You should look for HDMI port that is saying OUT. you will connect your HDMI cable from there connecting to your IN of your tv. remember which port you plugged the HDMI cable as you will switch to that particular input. it will say at the back of your tv in-1, in-2, in-3 or as much as the manufacturer want to have in there product.
connecting your speakers.you must remember the color code.if you chose red as positive, all the red wire must be positive.colour may be different but same idea. if you have sub-woofer it will be an analog cable you will only use single cable. At the back of your surround sound there's a connection saying sub-woofer out.
now selecting your inputs.turn on your tv and stereo.newer tvs and stereos are smart they can configure there system which is turned on.
anyways if you will do it manually, you must select from the remote what is the connected input. (input 1, input 2 etc.) if you found the right input, do the players (dvr, cable box, dvd, bluray, playstation, xbox etc) turn them all on and select from your stereo remote control.note all the inputs you selected.

You need to see if the TV's sound, not the receiver is out of sync also. Turn up the sound on the tv and turn down on receiver. If it syncs correctly, your receiver isn't fast enough to process both correctly. You will have to upgrade your receiver to one that supports HDMI 1.4. What kind of movie? A DVD? This will sound obvious, but make sure you aren't using a HD-DVD or BluRay disc...sometimes its DVD on one side and another format on the other. If you are, in fact, using a regular DVD, clean it. If that doesn't help, use a DVD cleaner disc to clean your XBOX laser. You should also hook it up to the net so you can get the latest firmware update, just to make sure your media player functionality is enabled.

Make sure all your wires are hooked up corectly,
If this doesnt work your sound card maybe bad.

check your blueray settings updates can reset them sometimes.

if ur surround hasnt got digital in then it wont work also its better to use the red white and yellow wire, i have hdmi and them wires hooked up and i have sound through everythin all i have to do is put it on aux 2, try it out
