Wrong connection continuation

FIRST QUESTION: I bought a stinger 1 farad capacitor, unfortunately i installed it wrong. The positive of the capacitor to the ground and the negative of capacitor to the B+ of the baterry. My 300/4 JL amp don't work also with my sufwoofer amp. What should I do. I may have damaged the capacitor for my subwoofer amp as well.
REPLY: You should have blown a fuse. Check the main power fuse feeding the system (usually at the battery). If it appears to be good, you'll need a multimeter to check the voltage at the B+ and remote terminals of the amplifiers. Place the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp when testing. .
SECOND QUESTION: When I turned ON my system my amps stays off (doesn't power on). Meter reading from ground to remote is 24.5v while terminal to ground is 2.4v. When its OFF, my terminal reads 24.5v and remote 0v. What should i do to fix the problem?

There are 2 split fuses from the terminal. They are not blown but what i did is i cleaned the fuses terminals and replace one, installed them back and everything works fine. Thank you for suggesting of checking the terminal.

If you're installing this in a vehicle with a 12 volt charging system (most automobiles are 12v), I think the batteries may be dead in your multimeter. You shouldn't read anything over ~15v.

When you measure this again, place the black lead on the ground terminal of the amp.

HOOKING UP THESCOSCHE 500K MICRO FARAD CAPACITOR. I LOST THE HOOK UP DIAGRAM AND DON'T WANT TO HOOK IT UP WRONG

Connect ground wire to ground. Connect positive wire to the same positive wire as the amp is. If you lost the charging resistor then connect the wire to the cap first then connect to the power source. This will keep it from sparking and damaging the plating on the connector.

It stays on all of the time and it is draining my battery

once a capacitor is charged, it should not be draining the battery, are you sure it is not something else in the system?

For some reason my capacitor wont charge, I've checked everything! I just bought a boss cap3.5b and I know for sure the fuse is working there is power coming from the battery and the cap is grounded...

get a small led or something that runs on 12 volts. i use my 5 dollar 12v test light and hold it to the positive cable thats gonna be hooked to my cap.
hook the other side to the cap, it will light up the test light and in a minute or two the light dims and then goes out, after its out , the cap is charged......JUST DONT LET IT TOUCH THE OPPOSITE WIRE WHEN YOU HOOK IT UP OR YOU DISCHARGE IT and its not funny

It's beeping when turned on. Why?

I have read that if the polarity is reversed, or the connections are backwards, the Capacitor will beep. If this is not the case, it may need to be replaced.

I bought a hifonics bxi2006d new and doesnt turn on

you should not have any spark from your ground...you may want check and make sure your ground is properly installed. Try wiring the amp without the cap and see if that works.

I was given a tsuname 2 farad

It doesn't matter...Just make sure your negative and positive terminal hookeups are correct. (as in, don't connect a positive wire to a negative terminal).

Rockford 1 farad capacitor

The 1 farad capacitor is something added to current hungry systems to help keep the supply voltage at the proper operating level.
If your amp does not work after putting one in your system, but it worked before you put it in, you most likely have it installed wrong.
The capacitor should be put in parallel with the main +B voltage of the amplifier. That means you would connect the positive side of the capacitor to the +B voltage supply of the amplifier and the negative side of the capacitor would go to the chassis ground.

If you have it connected in series, or inline with the +B voltage supply, the capacitor would be blocking the voltage to the amplifier.

Without more information on your problem that is the best answer I can give you.
If this does not help, please supply more information and I will be happy to help you further.
