Try to connect it the component input at the hdtv using the ypbpr out from your dvd. and switch it to interlace mode at the menu of a remote control and try to connect to video.

Your denon amp amp does not match and work well in some players for instance "Samsung" no pictures and sound via HDMI input. Only replacing players to another brand such as LG can fix the problem.
Sounds like either the cables you are using are bad or the component out on the dvd player is bad. Try using a different set of cables and make sure there are no loose connections on the dvd player
try pluging cable wire directly to the tv to see if you get a picture you may have shorted out the rca connection may need to be repaired good luck.....
I need more information. Which operating system are you running, what computer do you have? Did the sound ever work, and if so, what did you install that stopped it from working?

either the disc ur inserting is dirty or the laser needs cleaning try cleaning ur laser first then the disc if the problem prosist take the dvd player back
Your unit has it seems to have developed a video problem. it could be in the video switching IC or the video processor. Its going to need a trained technician, who knows how to use an ocilliscope to find the video problem.. Good Luck
