The ipod nano battery can be replaced. There is a stepby step guide that explainshow to repair the jack as opposed to replacing it : iPod nano repair. There are also third party iPod nano repair companies that do it for you.

Sounds like the iPod needs a new battery, or just some internal repairs. you're going to have to send this in to the repair center, to avoid voiding warranty. unfortunately, there isnt much the end user can to to repair the iPod, so its either that, or buy a new iPod.

M1070 wont come on just flickers

Please make sure the tablet is charged for at least 4-6 hours. Also, make sure the correct button is being used, oftentimes we hear the back or home button has been used in error. If the issue persists, you can try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before. If the power does not come on, please leave it plugged up for 4-6 hours then disconnect it from the power and turn it on.

If your tablet does not have the reset button: With the tablet plugged into the charger, hold the power button for 10 seconds then click the volume up once. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before. If the power does not come on, please leave it plugged up for 4-6 hours then disconnect it from the power and turn it on.

Why wont my ipod touch turn on i turned it off and it wont come o

Hold the power button and home button for 10 seconds to ensure the device is off. Let go.

Hold the home button down, plug in the ipod to the computer, after the screen changes to the itunes plug screen, let go of the home button.

The ipod will now be in recovery mode, and you can attempt to perform a restore within itunes.

If the restore fails, and the ipod screen stays black, this means the battery is dead and must be replaced.

My ipod touch will not turrn on or reboot whats wrong?

Checklist to see if your iPod needs a reboot:

. Your iPod is charged.

*If not, you might have to plug in your iPod, and make sure the computer can't go to sleep while it's charging. The iPod won't charge if the iPod is locked, so no orange.

Charging your iPod problem solution, that also works.

* Your iPod might need to completely drain in battery source before you can charge it. If that's the case, leave the iPod unplugged for 24 hours before trying to charge it. That will make sure the power is drained and your iPod is ready to be charged.

2. Your iPod is unlocked. Slide the button back and fourth a couple of times, just to make sure it's working.

3. And your iPod still has a black screen, frozen logo, or white screen.

Rebooting your iPod.

1. Run a cold boot (shut your computer down, then turn it back on) on your computer. * If your iPod crashed because of the software freezing, or the computer crashed.

2. Open your Apple Software.

3. Plug in your iPod. Make sure that you plug in your iPod into your computer, and that the plugs are secure. Your computer should detect your iPod, black screen or not.

4. Set down the iPod. Take your iPod and put it on a flat surface.

5. Press firmly. Take your fingers, and firmly press the middle button, and the menu button. It will read menu on the top button of the click wheel, and the center circle of your click wheel is what your looking for.

* Make sure your fingers are planted on the top of the center button, close to the menu button, and you are pressing it together.

6. Count to 8.

Now you should see an Apple logo pop up on your iPod screen.

Sometimes you need to try it a few times, to get it to work.

It should be synchronizing and happily you should be on your way.

*You also can reboot your iPod without it being plugged into the computer, I always do mine while it's plugged in.

you have to erease all the dta on mines and put the music and everything back on,

Wont Turn ON

(1) Hit the reset button for 5 seconds.
(2) Hit the reset button, slide down the on/off slide, and have it plugged into the computer at the same time. Hold for 5 seconds.
(3) Hit the reset button again.
(4) Charge it for at least 10 hours in the port in the BACK of your computer.
(5) After 10 hours, unplug the player and press the + volume button. While still holding it, plug the player back in. Keep holding it for 5-50 seconds. (most likely nothing will pop up).
(6) Let the player sit UNPLUGGED for a good 3 hours.
(7) Plug the player back in (it should light up now). Let it charge the usual time it takes to charge for an empty battery, about 6 hours.

Frozen ipod

Here you go :) Please rate me on wether or not this article resolves your issue

Last Modified: January 28, 2009 Article: HT1320 Old Article: 61705 Summary Learn how to reset or restart iPod following a freeze.
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

If you are still unable to reset your iPod, use only one finger from one hand to press the Center (Select) button, and one finger from the other hand to press the Menu button.
When you reset iPod all your music and files are saved, but some customized settings may be lost. Date and time are preserved (unless the iPod reset itself because it had no power and then was reconnected to power). Other customized settings, such as Bookmarks, On-The-Go Playlists, Shuffle, Backlight timer, and so forth are preserved from the last time the hard drive turned on.

Apple ipod may not work but can not test due to lost cord

You can purchase a new USB cable or wall charger at almost any retail location. After you have a new way of regaining power to your iPod, you will want to charge it for several hours until it is fully charged. If it does not turn on at all with power behind it you can attempt to reset the unit. Below is a step by step on resetting your iPod just in case you need the information. :) I hope this is useful to you even though your issue has been posted for some time now.
