FOR INSERT SIM: First All Check: 1.Confirm whether same sim card is working in other h.s or not. 2.Make sure the sim slot is o.k. only try these two. 3.If all the above steps fails, check the SIM card connector pins for damage. if so try to get serviced. 4.if ur sim card is good then it is problum form sim card ic u have u raplace it with SMD. u can make it jumper mean u can fix this prob with out sim card is for this contact. 5.take sim connector slight up by pin then cheak by inserting sim. 6.hot air gun on sim i.c. then cheak it. YOU NEED TO REPAIR IT.. BUT ITS DIFFICULT TO DO YOUR SELF. I REPAIR PHONES BUT I PREFER TO SEND THEM TO GOLDENLEPRICON. COM THEY HAVE A FAST TURN AROUND AND THEY CHARGE VERY CHEAP.
Maybe your sim card is not well fitted on your sim card port. If you thinks it is well firtted, based from my experience, just insert your sim card as usual to the sim card port and then do that 5 times. (rubbing slowly). and then try to power it on. Just try it. Hope it will work for you..
hi ive had exactly the same problem as you and when i took my phone back to 02 they said it was water damaged, i have since sent it off for a repair with another private company and they have said they are 95% sure its a software fault due to the way my screen was turning black and then saying insert sim, but i shall let you know when i get it back if it has fixed it or it could be something like the sim card reader but please dont be fobbed off saying its water damage they shall just drop a bit off water on the water tab and say its beyond economical repair
i think the sim validity period has been expired ... i mean if you didnt recharge for 90 days the sim validity will be getting expired automatically... this is made by the network operator in standard for all sim cards .... if it is not true then try inserting in other handset & have a try ... if you face same problem then really the sim validity has been expired ... take a new sim....
