When I look at my photos on the lcd screen on my kodak m1033 digital camera I can advance forward but I can't go back.
Also, I received the camera as a gift so I don't have the ''original receipt'' that is needed to send it in for warranty service.

If that is the issue, problem is the Review Button that's why you cant press the back button. I believe Kodak has a way to look on the warranty of their product even if you dont have receipt. As far as I know, most of the manufacturers, base the warranty with the Serial number of the product even w/out the receipt, so with Kodak. You may call 1.800.235.6325 for assistance on setting up your camera for repair.
