I have created a brochure in in printmaster platinum 7.0 and need to send it to the print shop. I have downloaded a pdf converter and I can sit my page up to print in a pdf but I cant save it as a pdf in order to email it.

Now, HAVING SAID THIS, dd you use ever Printmaster Platinum 17 with Windows 7? I understand that it is for Windows XP.
I'm no sure what kind of a mess you made with it uninstalling or removing but well, try to reinstall your original SETUP version in Windows XP COMPATIBLITY MODE
Befor you instal it cricght click setuo, select Properties, click on tab Comatibility and select option Windows XP Comatibility mode
If won'r work, I find no way to help you,

I wonder whether there are any differences between the pdf converter I am testing these days and the one you mentioned above?

I'm not familiar with the conversion in Printmaster, but here is a simple solution:
You can use Cute pdf writer.
Go to www.cutepdf.com and download the free utility. The nice thing about this is it will work as a "printer" for anything on your computer you need to print--in pdf format.
In essence, it becomes a printer--you choose to print whatever it is you normally print and chose cutepdf as the printer and it prompts you for a file name and there you go!

once installed it will look like a printer to your program and then print to the pdf995 printer and it will convert whatever you print into a pdf file.

At the top left of the page the are links to the PDF Creator and the Required GPL Ghostscript 8. The program will not function without it. Both programs work with x64 Vista. Read the website for the other benifits or the program.

1. In Tools/Options/General Options, check the box beside "Optimal Printing Resolution".
2. Go to File/Printer Setup/Printer Setup.
3. Under "Name" select Broderbund PDF Converter v2.10d
4. Next, go to File/Professional Printing.
5. Select "Save As PDF".
6. At the next screen, type the name of the PDF file you want to save in "Project Name".
7. Under "PDF Resolution", select 600 dpi.
8. Click on "Save As". In the next window, browse to the folder in which you want to save the file (for example: My Documents).
9. Click on the "Save" button.
10. PrintMaster will save the PDF file to the folder you selected.
11. Open the file in Adobe Acrobat to make sure all the elements and pages are there and that it looks as expected.

been running printmaster platinum 8.0 for many years on several different computers . have had it installed and running on my HPPavilion slimline for two years now . problem is that i cant get it too print anything new that i create it will print out older stuff that i have created but nothing new . have checked drivers on print they are all up to snuff , and have uninstalled and reinstalled both the printer and the printmaster program but still cant get it too print anything new that i create . it does print everything else in the PM program. and otherwheres on my computer
