KVM switch use with Logitech keyboard

Hit scroll lock twice and priess the left or right arrow.

I had the keyboard and mouse USB's in the wrong ports on the KVM switch. Mouse works in both, but keyboard only in one. Maybe??

Make sure your keyboard is plugged into the keyboard port of the KVM. The IOGear KVMs use a keyboard and mouse emulation. Due to this the keyboard port is the only port will recognize the Scroll Lock command.

Use function Key+PrintScreen will work

press num lock /num LK/scroll Lk.Find any of those key on your keyboard.it solve your problem.If .in Dell Latitude D600 the num lock/num Lk/scroll Lk is above F11 key.

Should fix your problem....

In my case, my logitech keyboards don't have a scroll lock...which kinda makes my life harder...

It might have something to do with the KVM Switch. Check that your switch will handle Keyboard shortcuts. If you are using the same KVM switch then you should be able to use the same short-cuts regardless of the keyboard you use.

can you share me the current firmware of your KVM switch.

Other information:
In AutoScan mode, the switch remains on one port for 10 seconds before switching to the next. This time interval cannot be changed. To exit autoscan mode press [Spacebar].

When in AutoScan mode, no mouse or keyboard controls. If the user moves the mouse or uses the keyboard while switching the connection between computer and the switch might be interrupted and cause erratic mouse movement and errant display when using the keyboard.

Maximum resolution supported is 2048 x 1536 @ 75Hz.

If mouse movement is erratic:
make sure you do not have more than one mosue driver installed. Make sure that the driver is either for a standar PS/2 mouse or a Microsoft compatible PS/2 mouse. Make sure you do not have any mouse drivers loaded in your CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT files. Avoid moving the mouse or pressing the mouse button when switching ports on the switch. You can reset the mouse and resume porper mouse movement simply by unplugging the mouse from the switch and allowing 2-3 seconds before plugging it back in.
