80 minute CDR's are generally 700mb cds. It all depends on the file size of your images.
700 divided by X meg (x = file size of image) = total number of images

How many pictures can be put on a 700md disc

It depends on the size in MB or KB of each picture. Seven for a 100MB pictures! But many are only 500KB, two will make 1MB. So you would be talking about 1400 pictures at 500KB.

I put the CD in CD-Rom the i went to my computer to open the CD but it say "Please insert the disk". Help? I think the CD work in DVD-Rom?

Some disk can be manufactured bad. Simply try another disc & check. If that too fails, then most probably the lens in the CD ROM has failed - better buy a new one.

Put the disc into your disc drive and then go into my computer. Click on the drive and see if it will read the disc. You might need to install Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to see them. Try the Microsoft website for it.

Does the unit recognize 80 minute discs?

Any desk CD recorder will only recognize discs labeled "Audio Disc".
That means you cannot use CD-R or CD-RW discs, that are basically data discs. No matter duration, if your 80 minute disc is CD-R or CD-RW, your unit will not recognize it. Good Luck.

While trying to put photos on cd-r it said that cd-r was not formatted. How do I format, so that I can put photos on?

Depends which operating system you use. The following is for XP so you might have to find the options for any other system. Try going to MY Computer and click the drive with the blank disc in. Then click file and see if format appears.

PACKARD BELL CD/RADIO/MP3 PLAYER. MODEL PB OP 10

This is not for connecting an MP3 player, but rather for playing MP3-CD's. Using your computer and a CD burner, you can burn a CD with up to about ten hours worth of MP3s on it. The procedure for creating the disc varies depending on your burning software. In Nero, for example, you would select "Music" and then "MP3 Disc" and then select the songs you want to put on the disc. For other software you just select "burn a data disc" and then select the MP3 files you want.

Once you have a CD full of MP3s, put it in the Packard-Bell stereo's CD player, and you will be able to play all the MP3 files that are on the CD. THe advantage, of course, is being able to put ten hours on one CD instead of only 80 minutes.
