AHA, been on one of these before. Turn the attachments upward and put a little wesson oil in the sockets the attachments slide into. Depressing the release button several times in the process and pushing the attachment in. Make sure it is unplugged. Good luck, Ned

The BUSH on the spindle is worn out. You will notice that liquid blending might make the liquid to flow out through this . If so it is confirmed. This is usual as the food particles gets caught on and wear off the bush in due time.
the blade unit has to be taken out and the bush must be changed after choosing the right bush for the steel spindle.
You can confirm rotating the spindle and see if this shakes.
Hope this tip confirms the fault.

splash a little water where it comes apart. Water will lube and soften anything holding the attachment. make sure it's unplugged so you don't lose a finger or twoOr pour a few drops of cooking oil on the button and let it run down the sides into the mechabism. good luck
