Screen display not working

Hi, I have a Zen V Plus 4 GB mp3 player. All of a sudden it does not display the screen anymore and it is useless. What can be done please? Do I need to purchase an Email Support subscription? amsurtep

Hi,

In my opinion, Replace battery & try again if its not working yet then check this is its working but display blan so then you have to change display of MP3 player.

When using the knowledgebase solution for "no screen" action Creative
advises to have the firmware reinstalled. See the online page:
Troubleshooting Display Screen Issues


First reset the player and have it charged. Use the reset button on the
left side and see the link How To reset and charge the device

Finally use the page for MP3 recovery

You need to download the MP3 Recovery Tool for this.

I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD ZEN V PLUS. THE DISPLYA

ah, i have the same thing. it's damage to the screen, as far as i know. i just ignore it, except it's a pain for videos and pics. you can look around for a replacement screen if it's really bothering you, but you'll probably want to go find a repair shop to do it.

Creative zen v plus 4 gb

hold the play button when turn it on and that will lead you to the recovery mode. run the format HD and then reboot, it will run like new. good luck.

It won't hold the number of songs it should

CUSE FORMAT YOUR doing is hi quilty i bet 1 gb player is 1000mb small songs are 1.5 mb 2 bigger songs are 4 to 6 mb so u can see it uses more space if u transfer quilty is set to hi quilty ok in the meadia player way u rip[ and convert
