Rang for service on plazma tv,technician came and repaired fault in tv, but left cables hanging down outside of wall did not bother to put them back behind wall as they were. Also just left me with no foxtel or dvd player working and just said to get someone else in to fix them, which i might add were working absolutely perfectly before technichion came' Had to get someone else in to fix his mess and it then cost me an extra $480. Samsung plazma was still under warranty and this is how they treat you.

Samsung Plazma TV suddenly went sepia after loud bang. Can someone help please?

You may have found the source of the loud bang. Time to turn it over to a repair technician.

Laptop will not turn on, laptop will not power on, laptop will not start

Make sure your laptop battery has a charge. Plug it into the wall outlet for 30+ minutes and then try powering it on. When you plug it into a power source, usually the laptop will have a light indicating that it is charging. Look for a light. If the light does not light up, try a different wall outlet.
If it still does not charge, you may have a bad power cord, a bad laptop battery, the wall outlet may be bad or the laptop itself is damaged and will need to be serviced by a technician or replaced.

Through the process of elimination you can narrow down possible causes.
-Try a different wall outlet(or by testing another device make sure the wall outlet is good)
-Try a different power cable.
-Try a different laptop battery.

If none of the above help then you may need to have your laptop repaired(internal damage) or replaced.

If your laptop is under warranty you should contact your laptop manufacturer or warranty policy holder to have it repaired or even replaced.

If it is not under warranty you should look for local computer repair shops or technicians.

-G33k
I have a panasonic plazma tv th-42pd50u. The red light turns on as soon as connected to power and does not turn off. There is no picture. Could it be a faulty power supply board?

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory ResetF (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

My 50" flat screen tv isnt turning on why not what can I do to fix it

If you are a trained and qualified TV-repair technician, you can trouble-shoot it and fix it. Otherwise, take it down from the wall, and take it to a qualified technician.

I would say finish the wall, because the microwave needs the space for cooling.

Power off presents magic focus screen, tv must be unplugged.

you will have to determine if tv fault or cable fault, shut down cable box and unplug it`s power cable. Once all power is removed from cable co. equipment retry your tv controls, if tv turns on correctly problem with cable co, if not tv has corrupted data (try unplugging tv for 1 minute and then retry) ifstill bad tv has bad control board or logic problem, either one will require tv tech to fix, hope this helps, video-tek

Fuzzy and ghost picture

Sounds like Either the cable from the wall to the TV is bad usually this will cause ALL channels to be fuzzy.Or your cable on the outside of the house is damaged.another common problem is the outlet on the wall has a bad connection. If they get painted over with wall paint this will also cause the problem.change the wallplate. If its damaged outside the cable company will usually fix it for FREE.you pay for the service and it their responsibility to make sure you wiring outside the house is working properly.

Plazma TV

There are several shutdown circuits on this unit. The X main or Y main are the usual suspects. Call 1-800-Samsung for a qualified servicer in your area.
